Germany, Third Reich. An Airport Administration Employee Armband Newly Listed accompanied by its period original(Flughafenverwaltung Mitarbeiter Armband). Constructed of red wool twill, the exterior trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with gold bullion wire tresses, with a hand embroidered golden yellow inscription of FLUGHAFENVERWALTUNG (AIRPORT ADMINISTRATION) in cursive script, unmarked, unstitched and measuring 422 mm (l) x 108 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, a rare example in overall near extremely fine condition.
